The Magical Folding Bike.

drawingstudiobikeI posted this on my other blog, the one where I try really hard to make myself sound a bit cultured, and since this bike isn’t in production and even if it was I probably wouldn’t be able to afford it, it only seemed right for it to be posted here.

This bike doesn’t have a name, but in my mind it’s called “The Magical Folding Bike” because it is indeed a product of magic. On my quest to find the perfect bike, I’ve come across many variations of color and price, with tricked out features I have no time for. So after coming in contact with this perfecting crafted bike, I fell in love. It was created by 24 year old Dominic Hargreaves after his beloved bike collapsed. The bike can be folded into the span of the wheel and can fit in any nook or cranny making it space efficient. Word is, Dominic is in talks to have the bike mass produced sometime in the next year. One can only hope…

Adobe Photoshop CS4

Ok, so as a creative soul I’ve been fiening to buy Photoshop for the necessary creative endeavors. You know, to design for my blog and what not, but really I’d just like to play with it for awhile. I go to an art school where everyone has and uses this software so it seems odd and out of place that I myself have to rely on make shift outlets to manipulate photos. Seems like everyone, their mother, and potential child already have Photoshop or InDesign or Illustrator, and I have no idea where to get it…for free or at a much cheaper price than the $600 I’ve been seeing it at on the regular. If only I had a Fairy Godmother to ask for these essential life changing purchases, but alas I do not. Now whats a girl to do? Sell her soul and maybe her Louis Vuitton? Can someone please inform me where in the heck I can purchase or rather get this from someone? Please, the pain of not having it is killing me rather softly over here.

Lil Black Birdie

Black Bird flyI heart all things retro. My love also extends to quirky cameras. Pair these two things together and BOOM, enter the Blackbird, Fly 135 Twins Reflex Camera, a lovely Japanese creation. The vintage inspired camera produces delicious and dewy images using 35mm film and two lenses. One lens frames the subject while the other exposes the film. At $130 the Blackbird, Fly is definitely reasonable as far as cameras are concerned. Sadly, my budget is not reasonable, I am broke. Check out the Blackbird here or browse the large gallery of Blackbird images.
